The best topic for the winter months: how to stay warm. Throughout our years of camping, overlanding, and hanging out by the fire we have learned some new tricks along the way. You can’t tell an outdoorsman/woman to stay indoors when the temperatures drop. Outdoor hobbies fuel our fire and have us looking forward to that weekend adventure no matter what! Simply making some adjustments to fit each season will keep you ready to go and always prepared.

Spring time means fly fishing time! Lucky for us, Western North Carolina is teaming with awesome spots to spend a day. Although fishing has been around since before anyone can remember, it can be overwhelming learning the basics. Local fisher-woman Katie Cahn’s helped us with some tips to get started and to distinguish the Caddis from the Chironomid, and separate the double haul from the double taper.
